The traditional Brie Festival in Melun

The traditional Brie Festival in Melun

✨ Back in images on a beautiful day at Melun, on the occasion of the feast of its iconic Brie de Melun 🧀.

Our President Christian Leclou (photo below), accompanied by French cookshad the pleasure of visiting Hervé Fillatre in his restaurant Maryland 🍴and to get to know Louis Vogel, former mayor of Melun, and Kadir Mebarek, his successor since October 2024 (photo from the middle below).

🎉 Between parade of the brotherhoods, the competition of the Brie de Melun and the induction of the new knights, the day again highlighted the dynamism of the Brotherhood of the Brie de Melun.

🥁 We were able to see the induction of the pages. True to its desire to pass on the culinary heritage to the yellowest, this year the Brotherhood renewed the enthronement of children in Tan than Pages. A strong moment that illustrates the continuity of a Melunese tradition where young people are invited to become guardians of the heritage of the Melun Brie.

🥂 This edition was also the occasion to celebrate the 30 years of marriage between the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Brie of Melun and the Brotherhood of the Order of the Dive Bottle of Gaillac: a fine example of gourmet and fraternal friendship.
