Conservatory of culinary heritage French
An exceptional library is accessible to all members of the French Cooks.
From a common gift from Philéas Gilbert (1), Appolon Caillat (2) and Léopold Mourier, the library of the Mutuelle des Cuisiniers de France consists of approximately 2,680 historical books of the 18th century.e to 20e and about so many contemporary books.
The library was classified, inventoried and referenced in 2023 by Mr Pierre-Henri Millescamps, expert in specialized courts. Each book is listed in an ex-libris.
The cover and the first page of each book were also scanned.

These works of immense wealth and harmoniously arranged in the own library of Mr Appolon Caillat, which he donated to the Mutual, are available (subject to conditions) at the headquarters 45 Rue Saint Roch in Paris 1and, by cooks, researchers, historians and all enthusiasts.
The library also contains all of the minutes of the Boards of Directors of the Mutual since 1840 to date as well as all of the Culinary Journals since its creation in 1920.
