The Cookers of France were the 12 October last in the Hauts-de-France to attend theGourm-Hand plate.

It is THE culinary contest that aims to value the work of professionals with disabilities in the kitchen.

Congratulations to all the candidates who participated in this great annual meeting and congratulations to Madame Louhkar Nouhaila and sir David Beaugendre who are the happy winners of this 19th edition.

Beyond the competition, the competition aims to enhance the self-confidence of the participants and their potential.

An exceptional culinary challenge
Each team has 1h30 to enhance a selection of prescribed ingredients: poultry, potatoes, butternut and shrimp. This test requires both technical, creativity and coolness, and highlights the teamwork between cooks and mentors. Among the competitors, Lionel's story and his instructor Guillaume perfectly illustrates the perseverance and passion that drive the participants.

A jury of experts serving excellence
To evaluate these creations, 20 Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (M.O.F.) form a jury
exception. Their evaluation criteria include presentation, culinary technique and
The harmony of flavors. As a result of their constructive feedback, the candidates did not
only with unforgettable memories but also with new skills.

A key mission
Beyond the competition, the Gourm-Hand plate seeks to break prejudices and
promote professional inclusion in the trades of gastronomy. By their passion and
their audacity, these cooks change the eyes of the public and professionals on the handicap in cooking.
