The time for speeches has passed, the time has come to get us back to work

Since 3 July, you have entrusted the presidency of the Cuisiniers de France, a mission that I approach with pride, but above all with a deep awareness of the responsibilities it entails.

Our Mutual Cuisiniers de France is based on simple but essential values: mutual aid, union and transparency.

These pillars will guide us in the next four years. There are many challenges, but we have the resources to address them.

The 23 directors, each invested in the commissions set up, are fully engaged with me. Their diversity, skills and commitment to our profession will be the driving forces of this new mandate.

Together, we will bring to life this philanthropic philosophy that makes our Mutual soul: to be there for our colleagues, to accompany them, to support them, to defend our profession and to convey the values that are dear to us.

The return is there, and with it the projects are accelerating. Our members have renewed their confidence in us in the last elections, it is now up to us to earn it every day.

This mandate will be that of action, proximity, transparency in our decisions and rigour in our commitments. We have an obligation to be exemplary. It is up to us to prove who we are, to show that the spirit of solidarity that unites Les Cuisiniers de France is not a mere slogan, but a reality brought about by concrete acts.
Work is just beginning. Be assured of our determination.

Christian Leclou
President of the Mutual Cuisiniers de France

Dear members, members, partners, administrators, Dear readers,

It took time, patience, self-denial and courage to get through what our centuries-old association just lived... From vain and barren quarrels into disproportionate ambitions, false rumours into disinformation, cowards betrayed into real acts of fraternity, nothing has been spared us for too many months.
Finally, on 30 June 2025, the democratic path spoke massively and the candidate for the presidency of the Cuisiniers de France Christian Leclou was rewarded for his commitment, sincerity, altruism and loyal election campaign.

Today he is therefore legitimately regaining his place as president, as well as all the actions already carried out between 17 June 2024 and 15 April 2025. He thus became the 24th president of the Cuisiniers de France elected.

Be proud, worthy and strong my dear Christian to work in the career opened by your illustrious predecessors, Léopold Maurier, Francis Carton, Michel Peignaud, Aimé Fournillier, Raoul Gaiga and so many others already at the Pantheon of the glorious chefs.

I would also like, and more personally, to thank those members who have been widely mobilized and who, sensitive to these elections, have freely expressed themselves.

Also, it is with the greatest pleasure that I find a board of 24 directors in the largest majority re-elected.

After this little development, place at the number 957 of your Culinary Review, back-to-school issue which unfortunately announces! the end of the summer, as C. Jerome sang so well...
Once it is not customary, I wanted to greet all the collaborators of the Cuisiniers de France, vital force of this association, beautiful team dedicated to multiple and complementary talents... « Meeting is a start, staying together is a progress, working together is success. »

Yours,
Fabrice Brossard
Director of the Mutual Cuisiniers de France
