15th edition of the Jean Delaveyne Trophy

Gwendal Briant wins Jean Delaveyne Trophy 2024


The 15th edition of the prestigious Jean Delaveyne Trophy Gwendal Briant, head of Bristol Paris (3 Michelin stars), as winner of the year 2024. He succeeds Paul Marcon, who is currently involved in the preparation of the Bocuse d-Or as representative of France. Chaired by chef Emmanuel Renaut and Agnes Delaveyne, granddaughter of the legendary «Wizard of Bougival »The competition brought together six top-level finalists. These leaders demonstrated creativity, precision and technical mastery during the events.

The 2024 podium was completed by Paul Pipard, head of the game at La Réserve (3 Michelin stars), who climbed to 2nd place, and Anthonin Favard, restaurant Bernard Loiseau (2 Michelin stars), who finished 3rd thanks to the finesse of his creations.
Hosted by the Le Cordon Bleu School, the competition concluded with a ceremony at the
restaurant Ledoyen. This moment was marked by a tribute to the Antoine Alléno association, in memory of the missing young chef and in support of the new generation of cooks.
This 2024 edition of the Jean Delaveyne Trophy illustrates once again the transmission of
knowledge and excellence at the heart of French gastronomy.
